Today is a wonderful day (of course every day as is apparently seen from the activities at different places), where a group of youngsters from Brahman Community gathered together and started “Brahman Community Services”.  Many youngsters – youth from Brahman Community started an organization in the name of VIPRA on 29^th July.  And many volunteers came forward to organize a service centre for providing Job Opportunities to the members of Brahman Community – particularly of economically backward section in the community (which is incidentally 60% amongst Brahman Community, as per a recent report supported by one of the prominent political leaders in AP Assembly).  Shri Prasad Anumula 9666641990 prasad.lic2009@gmail.com  is elected as President of the BCC.  Several members – more prominently the following attended the meeting on 15^th August 2012 – Country’s Independence Day – a festive occasion for all Indians; at Flat No 102, Sri Vari Nivas, Lions Town Colony, Manovikas Nagar, PO Hasmathpet, Secunderabad.   A photograph taken at the inaugural function is enclosed for your ready reference.

The team has decided to identify active members one for each district and make up their team for self help as well for helping the society. 

They have requested WBO to nominate one person on behalf of youth into the fold of WBO so that they can build up team work.   Accordingly, their suggestion to take Shri Chandrasekhar Panguluri is accepted for the time being till the review of his performance, to keep himself as YOURTH COORDINATOR for the state of Andhra Pradesh.   His duty shall be to identify the potential in each district and also identify such of those members who are less fortunate, so that their needs are linked to a volunteer who will take care of the need.  This kind of exercise is expected to yield desired results in due course of time.

Shri Ramkumar Tiwari, Chairman of Nirdosh Group of Companies and our WBO Segment coordinator for South and Central Southern Parts of India, is a real hero of our Community.  He is heading Dakshin Bharat Kanyakubj Sabha with its head quarters at Hyderabad.  His Organization has got long standing record in twin cities and he is doing wonderful service locally and within the State.  Every year, this Sabha is distributing Scholarships to Children in Brahman Community.  They are collecting donation for giving a scholarship to the deserved at Rs.5000/ per donor and this amount is being deposited towards corpus fund.  The interest is being utilized towards distribution of scholarships at least to 100-200 children every year. 

This time, 14^th July 2012, the scholarship distribution function took place at Kanyakubj Bhavan, Ambika Nagar, Uppuguda, Hyderabad. 

As a WBO Segment Coordinator, he is doing his best and it is a part of our WBO program.  Let us all appreciate his efforts for strengthening the hands of WBO. 

Kanyakubj Sabha is arranging Diwali Sneh Samaroh -2012, on 24^th November at 4.00 p.m. in Kanyakubj Bhavan, Uppuguda, Hyderabad.  This time WBO members of AP are also involved in this program in a great number. 

Let us all do our best to the community in whatever manner we can; on whatever front we are able to.

It is sad, in most of the places in India, we find “Brahman Abuse” very common.  Might be it is a fact, Brahmans are polite and mild; Brahmans mind their business and do not interfere with others work; Brahmans are not aggressive nor do they respond ferociously;  Brahmans prefer to play a role of advisor with all parental affection.  One thing to be remembered – Only a Brahman used to play the role of a teacher, a doctor, an advisor, an astrologer, and what not – ANY ONE HAS TO ADMIT THIS AS A FACT when we turn back and see the ancient India and ancient Villages.  Today, the country is prospering and aiming at new levels, the foundation stone is definitely laid by a Brahman of ancient years. 

There was a serious incident that shook the confidence of the Priests in one of the prominent temples of Andhra Pradesh.  Priests were suspended on the pretext of false allegations.  WBO responded to this instantly and the entire team of AP took it as a challenge to solve the issue and this showing of strength has proved its impact on the case.  For some technical reasons, we are not in a position to mention the names in this letter.  But repeated visits during the month of January to the spot has taken much of our time, but we  feel, WBO responded to the call instantly and on time.

My dear Vipra Bandhu

I am writing a series of letters in the context of the activities of WBO during the first quarter of 2012. 
After returning back from Great Navsari Convention in Gujarat and followed by a Office Bearer meet at Jammu under the able leadership of our Chapter President Shri Ashwini Kumar, we started focusing on consolidation work of brahman leaders in various states - relating to various languages.  Ofcourse, the efforts at different meetings is being placed area wise and region wise.

SAMOOHIK YAGNOPAVEET SANSKAR project has been taken up by Shri Ram Kumar Tiwari, President of Dakshina Bharata Kanyakubj Sabha, Hyderabad.  Shri Ram Kumar Tiwari is very well hand in hand with WBO and is a strong supporter of WBO activities.  He is a great asset to the organization in relation to the SERVICE ACTIVITIES.  This program took place on 28th January 2012 at the own building of Kanya Kubj Sabha. 

The immediate future program of this associated sabha is DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO POOR STUDENTS PARTICULARLY OF BRAHMAN COMMUNITY.  This event is taking place on 14th July 2012 at Hyderabad. 

This program reflects in the second quarter report of WBO along with relevant photographs.
